Vocalist, Natalie Walker, combines folk, soul and electronic to produce this sometimes melancholic but haunting debut album. Very reminiscent in places (e.g. “Faith” and “Red”) of some of her influences like Bjork and Portishead, this album is mainly acoustic (not the usual dance stuff you’d find here on Beatzbase) but it does have a substantial trip hop feel to it.
The single No One Else has been out for a while and comes with some stunning remixes. If you like this album, you’re bound to want the remixes of the single.
