Kathy Brown's classic gets a rerub in this funky house monster. The track started as an underground hit in the form of The Filthy Dub found on the single, but then it was suggested the track needed a vocal and so Vincent M and James Wiltshire pulled in Kathy Brown's vocals from her 1994 hit, and Turn Me On was born.

The single comes with a number of mixes including the customary radio version, the aforementioned Filthy Dub and reworkings from Phunkk Mob and Denis The Menace and Jerry Ropero. The original mixes are a little too housey for my liking (but that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them); the Phunkk Mob mixes are much harder and probably the best of the pick in my opinion; the Denis The Menace and Jerry Ropero versions hold the tunes house roots together with a funky beat and of course those legendary lyrics.
