Binary Finary - The Lost Tracks
Binary Finary
The Lost Tracks

Reviewed by: DJ Beatz (11/05/2006)

It has been 8 years since Binary Finary hit the trance dance scene with their classic 1998. The duo (Matt Laws and Stuart Matheson) have been caught up in internal wranglings over that period.

But in that 8 years the duo created this new album - The Lost Tracks - and it's a cracker. Although some of the tracks could perhaps benefit from some vocals (you expect Maria Naylor or Jan Jonstone to cut in at any time on some tracks) this is destined to be a dance classic in anyone's trancey progressive house collection. The album contains mainly never before heard tracks including a remix of 1998 (not that there isn't enough of those already).

Available via download only, including the option to only download the tracks you want (something other artists haven't caught on to doing yet), so check it out at your favourite download site (iTunes, Audiojelly, Beatport, etc.) from 1st May.
