Beck has enjoyed much success over the years and his gold selling Guero album is no exception. I've never really followed his work much, which makes this Guero remix album a very pleasant surprise. Simply put Beck has pulled together a group of remixers (such as Mario C, Air, Adrock, etc.) who have added their own list twists and tweaks to his Guero album - the result is Guerolito.

As I say not being particularly familiar with his music I wasn't really sure what to expect. What you get though is an eclectic mix of broken beats, rock like guitar tunes and catchy lyrics and licks. You're not getting dance remixes that stand out as dance mixes as such, but the tunes are funky and full of beats with a mild break beat feel. Check it out for sure!
