Album Reviewz
Propellerheads - Dex'n'Drums'n'Rock'n'Roll Written by: Paul RoseBy name by nature (in several cases), it contains plenty of Decks, and Drums, which certainly Rock - with big beats rolling in on several tunes quite a summery sort of CD - rather than for Winter when it was released. Not only by title, but some of it's tracks are also indicative of what's on the LP - History Repeating for instance - you get this feeling quite often of this as several of the tracks (though very good) are quite old. This includes Spybreak!, and Take California, which have been EP's previously - though the latter is one of my favourite tunes on the LP. Although not ground breaking or innovative, there are a combination of styles, and some interesting tunes - though a shame some of the remixs from the single's weren't included; History Repeating from the single was far better. If you've a spare tenner or so, it's certainly worth getting above Saturnz Return (Goldie) which was released around the same time - if only that hadn't come back. BeatzReviewz needs you!
